Photo shows the A-Bomb Dome in Hiroshima, Japan. The A-Bomb Dome is the skeletal ruins of what was, before the world's first nuclear attack on Aug. 6 1945, the city's Industrial Promotion Hall. Although the building was the closest to the hypocenter of the nuclear bomb, its basic structure remained standing and has been preserved in the state it was found after the bombing.
