Photo shows the view from a hilltop overlooking Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. Atlas Copco drill rigs are a key feature of the project, which will shift blasted rubble from a nearby hillside to the central part of the city, which was flattened by the 2011 tsunami, where the land will be raised 10 meters. Rubble is transferred to the lower lying coastal land via a 3-km-long conveyor belt system, which spans the river and zig-zags its way across the city. Rob Gilhooly Photo
